To effectively deal with the problem, in September, 2009, Yiwu police and CCC Group built an economic crime dynamic warning platform - China Commodity City Economic Crime Warning and Trade Information System. Its function includes credit search of foreign trade companies, warning news, company comments, list of complaints, tips and suggestions, etc. The running of this system has saved 15 million yuan for market players in about half a year since its launch.
It is learned that the warning platform is made up of two systems. One is the trade risk warning system for the market players; the other is the trade information and complaints collecting system for the public security department. According to Gong Weidong, director of No.2 lochus, brigade for economic crime investigation of Yiwu Public Security Bureau, the warning platform has a special column of trade credit comments, which will dynamically show the opinions from market players of foreign trade companies, and issue the blacklist of companies with bad impression and low credit. When feeling doubtful, people in the market can use the function of trade information search to check whether the purchaser has bad record. On the other hand, the platform has a Bolanggu instant communication system, which has opened ONCCC customer service groups, serving the market players 24 hours a day through any on-line communication, trouble-shooting, and complaints settlement.
It is said that since it was put into use, the warning platform has saved 15 million yuan for people in the yiwu market. The platform's role as a firewall has become more and more prominent.
